As recently announced by the Minnesota Wild, they have signed American winger Matt Boldy to an extension worth $49m over the next seven seasons. Putting his AAV at $7M by 7 years.
The 6’2 winger currently has 29 points in 42 games with the Wild this season, and in his career he has 68 points in 89 games.
This deal looks to be one that looks to be one of great value for the Wild as the the contract ages, given Boldy is still only 21 years of age.
