The French center back has signed for the London Blues from Ligue 1’s Monaco. At only 21 years of age, Badiashile has been a regular for the Monegasque side.

Badiashile was previously linked with Newcastle United earlier in the year, however now he will be competing against them in the English Premier League.

Badiashile is athleticly sound, with quick pace and an astounding height of 6’4. The height of Badiashile means that his greatest strength is athleticism in the air, winning aerial duels against marked targets.

For Chelsea, this is likely a more direct and future proof replacement for Rudiger who left for Real Madrid this past summer.
