In what finally seems to be the end of a once dreamed upon return to the club where he became one of Europe’s best. Cristiano Ronaldo and Manchester United agree to part ways with immediate effect.
This happens as the Portuguese superstar is representing his nation at the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
This comes to no surprise given the interview that Ronaldo had with Piers Morgan, where he spoke about the issues he had with the club.
It was in the interview where Ronaldo criticized the direction of the club, and made clear his disagreements with current team manager Erik Ten Hag.
This means that Ronaldo is a free agent effective immediately and will most likely find a new club once the 2022 Qatar World Cup comes to an end.
