Canada Do NOT Get New 2022 World Cup Jerseys

Unfortunately Canada will not be getting new jerseys for the 2022 World Cup to be held this Winter in Qatar.

Unlike most of the other Nike sponsored clubs, Canada is on a different development cycle, which explains why they did not get updated kits. Meanwhile Nike sponsored nations like England and Portugal will be getting new kits for the tournament.

Canada has only qualified for the World Cup once in their history, and that was 36 years ago. Unfortunately the lack of new kits will not be made to celebrate their historic entrance in the tournament.

This is a major missed opportunity and Canada will also likely be the only country without new kits to commemorate the 2022 World Cup.

Before the 2022 World Cup in Qatar starts, Canada will be playing three friendlies against Qatar, Japan, and Uruguay. You can watch these fixtures on fuboTV through OneSoccer! Click here to get access!
