Former Chelsea and Arsenal superstar left the English Premier League last season when he returned to his former Brazilian club Corinthians.
Now he has signed with Fulham on a one year deal after taking a year away from the Premier League.
Willian brings forth a high level of experience towards the newly promoted club. Since he is a former EPL Champion, and showed success in the past on Chelsea, he brings forth much needed knowledge in the league.
Now 34 years old, Willian is past his prime, but still can be useful for the Lily Whites.
Willian was also training with Fulham prior to signing the deal as a free agent. Though there was no rush to sign, as he was a free agent (and can sign outside of the transfer window), the move shows that Fulham are acting urgently in this move.
