The Real Madrid man seems like he is joining former teammates Cristiano Ronaldo, and Raphael Varane in a €60m move that would send him to the English Premier League.

Casemiro has been part of a historic midfield trio at Real Madrid, evident through his success throughout the years.

This is evident through his three La Liga titles, and more impressively his five UEFA Champions League titles, three of which came in a row.

However, with rumors surfacing that Manchester United would be willing to double his wages, and with Real Madrid having several young midfielders on the rise, the time to move could be now.

The Brazilian will be joining Erik Ten Hag’s struggling side, but will also be bringing in a new level of experience and a culture of success to the new club. However, Manchester United’s midfield signings as of recent years have not met expectations whatsoever.

Given that Manchester United have lacked quality defensive midfield depth, Casemiro would slot right into the starting eleven and could contribute high levels of success for that lone position. However, the same expectations were set in the past with previous midfielders.
