The Blues are looking to improve on their third place finish in last year’s campaign in the English Premier League. Though they have just recently won the UEFA Champions League under coach Thomas Tuchel a few seasons ago, it seems like they will strive to return to their successful form from two seasons ago.

One way in which they will be able to do that is through domestic success through challenging for the English Premier League. Success domestically would mean that they can win their first EPL title since the 16/17 season.

Manager Thomas Tuchel is yet to win the English Premier League, and will be looking to change that this season given the strength of his squad.

Along with new American owners and brand new signing of Raheem Sterling, additionally when considering the departure of many key players such as Antonio Rudiger, and Andreas Christiansen, this season looks to be the start of a new era in at Chelsea.

In regards to the old era of Chelsea, players like Mason Mount, Kai Havertz, and N’golo Kante are still on the team, and given the circumstances of last season, they will be hungrier for success more than ever.

These are players that will want to impress the new ownership group and strive for success in all competitions.
