After seven seasons with Manchester City, the English attacker is finally moving on and joining Chelsea for a transfer fee of about €45M Euros. Sterling is also set to be earning €300k Euros a week on a 5 year contract with the London Blues.
He will be joining the Blues is Los Angeles for their summer tour
Sterling leaves City after winning major eleven trophies which includes four English Premier League titles.
Sterling joining Chelsea would also mean that he would have signed for three of the top six clubs in England, as he had also previously played for Liverpool before joining the Cityzens in the 2015/2016 season.
The English winger departs his former club after they added Erling Haaland to play striker, which meant that they would have a surplus of elite attackers on the team. However, as Chelsea struggled with a consistent winger last season, Sterling can defiantly add to London club.
Additionally, as Sterling has won four of the past 5 Premier League titles with City, he can defiantly provide experience to the Blues as they seek their first Premier League title since the 2016/2017 season.
