Ryan Gravenberch is a Dutch footballer who most recently played on Ajax. He has just signed with Bayern until 2027 for a transfer fee of $25 Million Euros. Additionally there will be a 7% sell on fee attached to the future transfer of the midfielder.
The 20 year old midfielder will add depth to the Bavarians, while also giving the youngster the opportunity to play with a world class team in one of the strongest leagues.
At the young age of 20 years old, Gravenberch has already won three Eredivisie titles with Ajax, and will look to continue Bayern’s Bundesliga dominance during his time in Germany.
Gravenberch has also had a total of 10 caps for his national side, which is quite impressive given his young age and the strong midfield of the Dutch team.

Gravenberch has also said that he had rejected his old manager Erik Ten Hag’s attempt to sign him (at Manchester United).
A reunion with his old manager could have been special in rebuilding the English team, however Gravenberch seemed to be committed to what Bayern had to offer.
In terms of playstyle, Gravenberch utilizes his large frame and height to dominate. He also has a tendency to carry the ball instead of passing it to progress the play, while usually drifting towards the touchline.
Defensively he is able to use his frame and size to win defensive duals which is quite impressive.
Gravenberch is still young and still has the time to develop, but the raw talent and individual qualities are present and vivid.
